The direct mail company that prepared meth addiction brochures says a “typo” was the problem.

Calling the 800 phone number on the brochure was supposed to link callers with a help line operated by the Tennessee Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services. Instead, the number printed on 200,000 direct mail pieces sent callers to a recorded message where a second 800 number was given.

When the second number was dialed, callers found themselves on a phone sex line and were told “hot girls” were waiting to talk” to them.

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Army has charged seven paratroopers from the celebrated 82nd Airborne Division with engaging in sex acts in video shown on a Web site, authorities said Friday.

Three of the soldiers face courts-martial on charges of sodomy, pandering and engaging in sex acts for money, according to a statement released Friday by the military.

Four other soldiers, whose names were not released, received nonjudicial punishments.

The Army has recommended that all be discharged.

Investigators believe Betty Shepperd was murdered over something that sounds extremely trivial. They said 45-year-old Vito Loiacono was irritated that Shepperd was slamming the door at night and waking him up.

“[The person] said, ‘The reason I’m calling you is I saw Vito coming out of Betty’s apartment.’ I said, ‘That can’t be,’” said Shepperd’s friend, Maria Folks.

Folks went to Shepperd’s apartment and found her in the bathroom, where she had been stabbed to death.

Listen here bitch. I have been very very busy. FOR STARTERS, I changed my host. For the past few months I was set up on a free host through a friend, to test the site and get it out of beta and into live stages. The tests have passed. But with a free account he only let me have around a gig and a half of bandwidth transfer per month. Not a whole lot as I am getting up to a few hundred unique visits per day. So I switched over to yahoo web hosting. Usually I would shy away from the big dog but they offer a great and complete package, no cpanel but I can get over that.

The site would have been ready a few days ago but I had a few minor draw backs. 1, my god damn mysql database backup was FUCKED UP, and I had to hand edit a few hundred fucking tables and update my sql files to install properly. I just got everything half way there, so some shit might be inactive for a little while until I get around to it. Also I have to re chmodd quite a few script files as well. Would be hackers don’t get your panties in a bunch there are no files listing 777 that I would want to be server access only or anything like that.

Upper Darby, PA — A man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly placing crack cocaine near a crib, where a 21-month-old ate some of it.

Marvese Forrest was rushed to Delaware County Memorial Hospital after her mother found her crying with white powder on her mouth, police said.

The child was treated and released.
Michael Brown, 24, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person.

LEAGUE CITY — A 27-year-old League City woman who police said confused the weekend with a weekday and dropped her 6-year-old off at school was arrested Saturday.

Lt. Bruce Whitten of the League City police department said police believe the mother thought Saturday was a school day and drove her daughter to Ferguson Elementary that morning. Despite the lack of activity at the school or cars in the parking lot the child was let off at the school, Whitten said.

A few hours later a passer-by saw the child, who was coatless in a chilly drizzle, and called police.
