A Jacksonville man says he was duped and robbed by two girls after attempting to meet with a woman he met on the internet.The victim says he chatted online with a woman, known on her MySpace.com profile as “Natalia”, for two weeks before deciding to meet with her. He says her prfile showed sexy photos, and a blurb which said “just lookin’ for something fun”. That brief, friendly description was all he knew about her before they planned to meet.
“This was not the girl that the picture was of on MySpace,” the victim said.
“[One of the girls] took [a] gun out and put it to my head and told me to empty my pockets.”
The girls didn’t get much because the victim had forgotten his wallet. They let him go, unharmed, and he called police. Myspace.com may have been developed for friends and music, but this victim had to find out the hard way that not everyone is logging on for the right reasons.
Those teenagers are now charged with armed robbery and carrying a concealed firearm.

An Anchorage man who police say possessed thousands of images of child pornography — including some that an investigator said were the worst he’s seen — was sentenced Friday in Anchorage Superior Court to three years in prison.Anthony Stanford, 50, was arrested after a September 2005 investigation found almost 4,000 images and 300 videos of child pornography involving children of all ages, including infants, on his work and home computers. It was a stockpile of still photos and short movies that he had been collecting since he first got online in the early 1990s, he told police in a video interview shown in court.
Police said they matched 1,200 of the images with identifiable child victims through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Detective Kevin Vandegriff said Stanford’s collection was the most disturbing he has come across in his years in the Crimes Against Children unit. Videos included young children bound and blindfolded.

, a married man and father of five stepchildren, had no prior misdemeanor or felony convictions. He pleaded no contest to two counts of possessing child pornography in February.In the video interview with police taped after he was charged, Stanford said he started liking pornography in the sixth grade. He would go to the local dump in Twin Falls, Idaho, to look for porn, he said.
“I download porn from A to Z. So, if it’s illegal, it’s probably in there,” Stanford said in the video. “It’s out there and it’s free, I don’t see what’s wrong with looking at it.”
In the video, Stanford said, “If I ever get back to my computer, I’ll probably do the same thing again. I got caught because of a stupid mistake.”

Sooner or later the factory’s neigbhors gave up, except for Marvin. Having tried every way possible, the owners of the factory failed to acquire his land. However all the surrounding land was now owned by the factory, which resulted in Marvin’s shop getting cut off from the rest of the world.
Marvin tried everything in his powers to restore justice. Obsiously, the city council and other politicians of the state were on the factory owners’ evil capitalist side.
It’s not suprising that Marvin lost the case to the owners, in court. After that Marvin was also given a $2500 fine for not having a connected sewer line. When paying the fine, Marvin attached a note to the check and ticket that read “Cowards”.
He was just one of those who would not give up.
On the 4th of June, 2004 during a rainy day Marvin rolled out into town on a bulldozer reinforced with metal sheets.

According to PETA, at least two people witnessed the act about a month ago. A few days later, the pony was reported dead.
“Research shows that offenders who commit bestiality often go on to commit sex crimes against humans,” said PETA’s Stephanie Bell. “Our belief is that the community should be following this case closely because anyone capable of this kind of cruelty poses a definitive risk to the entire community.”
PETA is urging the district attorney to prosecute Lewis vigorously and require mandatory counseling. An initial hearing in the case was scheduled for Wednesday.

“Microsoft has officially kicked off the Windows Vista Customer Preview Program (CPP), providing the broadest access yet to pre-release test versions of Windows Vista,” a company spokesman said in a statement.
This test version “allows developers and IT professionals who dont have access to pre-release versions of Windows Vista through other channels to obtain the code and begin their testing.”
The release is a normal part of the rollout for Windows, which is used by many software developers whose programs interact with the operating system installed on some 90 percent of personal computers worldwide.
“This broad availability of pre-release code represents a significant milestone in the development of Windows Vista and the feedback received from testers will help us further refine certain areas of the product,” the company said.
