If my family took me to Taco Bell for my birthday, I would prob do something WAY worse. He ate taco and then went to Taco Bell later. Dude loves messican food. Who the hell goes to Taco Bell to celebrate a birthday? Was Chuckee Cheese too busy? Crack…murder…taco bell…and a movie…then jail. Hope it was worth it. I am guessing he’s going to be the life of the party in the joint. He was fighting for birthday ass, now he will be fighting against it. Ah ha ha.

A 21-year-old Gary man accused of bludgeoning a woman to death and then burying her in his backyard was charged Wednesday with murder.Louis Vela turned himself in and confessed Tuesday, which led investigators to the body of Tracy Parham, 34, police said.

Officers on Tuesday evening found her naked body wrapped in contractors garbage bags in a grave near the garage at Vela’s home, 3856 Van Buren St.

Vela reportedly told police he was smoking crack with Parham on March 11, his 21st birthday. When Parham refused to have sex with him, he bashed her in the head with a lead crystal clock, police and prosecutors say in court records.

When Parham did not wake up, Vela took her to his room and had sex with her, according to the court records.

Parham’s body remained in Vela’s bedroom while Vela went with family members to Taco Bell and a movie in Portage to celebrate his birthday, court records allege.

Robert R. Taylor Sr., who with his brother Joseph helped revolutionize miniature golf by creating elaborate obstacles and custom courses, died Tuesday. He was 89.

Taylor, who worked as a leather sorter for Endicott Johnson Shoe Corp., was persuaded by a friend to invest in miniature golf. He built his first course in Williamsport, Pa. in the 1940s, and then capitalized on the game’s increasing popularity.

It may have been a borderline call, but it was still a third strike. The Oregon Court of Appeals on Wednesday upheld a ruling that sent Nicholas Meyrovich to life in prison under a 2001 three-strikes law. Meyrovich got his third strike, a felony sex offense, for delivering an unwanted kiss.

Meyrovich, in his appeal, claimed that a life sentence for the kiss violated the Oregon Constitution’s ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

Meyrovich, 60, an exterminator, was inspecting the home of a Salem woman in October 2003 when he suddenly grabbed her and kissed her. The woman pushed Meyrovich away, but he took hold of her again and sucked her on the neck, stopping when a neighbor walked in.

Two men are being held in the Palm Beach County jail in connection with the murder of Curious George coauthor Alan Shalleck . The men are charged with first-degree murder, armed home invasion, aggravated battery and dealing in stolen property. The 76-year-old suffered stab wounds and was stuffed beneath a heap of trash.

“A woman in Missouri who was charged with knowingly exposing her boyfriend to HIV may have had as many as 100 sex partners , according to the girl’s mother.” … “Harris discovered she was HIV-positive when she suffered a miscarriage at age 14, police told a newspaper.”

EDGEWATER, Md. — Police are looking for a jogger who kicked a toy poodle so hard that it landed on the other side of the street, leaving it paralyzed.

The 9-year-old, 4.5-pound poodle named Jacquelyn was at a veterinary hospital in Annapolis Friday, paralyzed from neck down. It is unclear if the paralysis is from structural damage or traumatic shock.

Witnesses told Anne Arundel County police the jogger kicked the dog three times after it ran up to him barking and nipping at his heels just before 9 a.m.

A tearful Janice Tippett, the poodle’s owner, told The (Annapolis) Capital, “This guy is so bad. She did not deserve that. Neither me or her ever hurt anybody.”

A PROSTITUTE who bit her client’s penis so hard he required an operation has denied grievous bodily harm with intent.

Prosecutor Matthew McNiff told the jury Louise Jowett carried out the attack because Brett O’Leary, from Clare, near Haverhill, told her he had no more money to give her after already paying her for sex.

Outlining the case Mr McNiff said 22-year-old Jowett, who denies the charge, had bitten and continued to bite Mr O’Leary for up to 45 seconds during the assault. The force and determination of Jowett’s attack was said to have led to Mr O’Leary requiring an operation.

Jeremy Majorowicz thought something was wrong when he saw a dog sitting on railroad tracks for at least two hours. But he didn’t realize how wrong until he and several other men determined that the gray and white husky had been literally frozen to the ties in below zero weather.

The construction worker first saw the dog on the tracks before his crew called off work for the day Monday because of the cold, and headed to a restaurant. But the dog was still there when they returned 1 1/2 hours later.

“I like animals, and I didn’t want to see it get hurt,” Majorowicz said.
