Yes. Japanese game developers seem to care less and are continuing to develop the game and no release dates have been altered. Over the years Resident Evil and its Zombie Virus has traveled the globe affecting the world and its people, now making its way to the mother land, Mother Africa. Why should Africa be excluded from this horrible outbreak you ask, well the answers are quite simple.

White Zombies are there for the picking, but killing black Zombies are just, well, racist, and if you buy this game, well you better not kill them, or else Al Sharpton will be at your house with an angry mob. And here comes the demand for reparations. Some very reputable Black authors have voiced their opinion about this racist title developed by the Japanese online in various blogs and web sites.

The new Resident Evil video game depicts a white man in what appears to be Africa killing Black people. The Black people are supposed to be zombies and the white man’s job is to destroy them and save humanity. “I have a job to do and I’m gonna see it through.”

This is problematic on so many levels, including the depiction of Black people as inhuman savages, the killing of Black people by a white man in military clothing, and the fact that this video game is marketed to children and young adults. Start them young… fearing, hating, and destroying Black people.

Never before have I received more hateful comments by angry gamers who called me everything from a “nigger” to a “black hooker” for agreeing with Ruberg that these images of Black people (Black zombies) are problematic.

We need to find ways to humanize Africans, not dehumanize them.

An NAACP leader believes Michael Vick should be allowed to return to the NFL, preferably the Atlanta Falcons, after serving his prison sentence for his role in a dogfighting operation.

“As a society, we should aid in his rehabilitation and welcome a new Michael Vick back into the community without a permanent loss of his career in football,” said R.L. White, president of the NAACP’s Atlanta chapter, yesterday. “We further ask the NFL, Falcons, and the sponsors not to permanently ban Mr. Vick from his ability to bring hours of enjoyment to fans all over this country.”

White said the Falcons quarterback made a mistake and should be allowed to prove he has learned from that mistake. On Monday, Vick said through a lawyer that he will plead guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and conspiracy to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture.

White said the Atlanta chapter supports Vick’s decision to accept a plea bargain if it’s in his best interest, but he questioned the credibility of Vick’s codefendants, saying an admission of guilt might be more about cutting losses than the truth.

“Some have said things to save their own necks,” White said. “Michael Vick has received more negative press than if he had killed a human being.”

Embattled Atlanta Falcon Michael Vick has a friend — and fellow doggie disrespecter — in Stephon Marbury.

“I think we don’t say anything about people who shoot deer or shoot other animals,” the Knick point guard told Capital News 9, an Albany TV station. “You know, from what I understand, dogfighting is a sport. It’s just behind closed doors.

“I think it’s tough that we build up Michael Vick and then we break him down.”

Vick agreed last week to plead guilty to federal dogfighting and conspiracy charges.

Two teenagers were accused of gang raping a woman and forcing her 12-year-old son to join in the attack, then beating him and pouring cleaning solution into his eyes.Authorities allege Avion Lawson, 14, and Nathan Walker, 16, were among a group of about 10 masked suspects who forced their way into the woman’s apartment in a crime-ridden housing project the night of June 18.

The two were being held without bail Friday on suspicion of armed sexual battery by multiple perpetrators, sexual performance by a child, armed home invasion and aggravated battery. Both were arrested this week, but formal charges had not been filed. Authorities said the two would be charged as adults.

“Any rape case is horrible but this takes it to another level, something you can’t think of even in your worst dreams,” police spokesman Ted White said.

According to the police report, a man knocked on the woman’s door at about 9 p.m. and told her he had a flat tire. The mother and son, whom police have not identified, went outside and were ambushed by a group of gun-wielding suspects.

The victims told police they were forced back into their home and beaten and sexually assaulted. According to authorities, the men raped, sodomized and beat the woman, then forced her son to participate in the assault at gunpoint, making him have sex with his mother in front of them.

The boy was then beaten and had numerous household cleaning liquids poured into his eyes, according to the police report.

The suspects also stole a few hundred dollars worth of cash and jewelry, White said.

White said more arrests were expected, but he would not say whether authorities had identified additional suspects. The teens in custody were not cooperating, but Lawson confessed to taking part in the attack, White said. Walker has denied involvement, White said.

DNA evidence in a condom found in the victims’ home linked Lawson to the crime, police said. Investigators also say they found a palm print belonging to Walker at the scene.

The victims did not suffer life-threatening injuries and have been released from the hospital, White said.

“They’re going through the county victim services for counseling,” he said.Lawson lived in Dunbar Village, the hardscrabble project where the attack occurred. Walker was apparently visiting a friend there, White said.

The Rev. Al Sharpton embraced the mother and sister of a man serving a 10-year sentence for consensual oral sex with a 15-year-old, joining hundreds of supporters Thursday demanding his immediate release from prison.

Genarlow Wilson has been in prison for two years for taking part in the sex act when he was 17 years old.

“This boy is not only her son, he’s your son, he’s my son,” Sharpton told the cheering crowd from the steps of the Douglas County Courthouse. “We’re here today because what affects you affects all of us.”

State Rep. Alisha Thomas Morgan said Wilson’s punishment was excessive and should be reduced, just like the prison sentence for former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, which was commuted Monday by President Bush.

“Genarlow is the face of many other young black men who have received injustice,” Thomas Morgan said. “Somebody’s got to stand up for them.”

The crowd held signs that read “Free Genarlow” and “Justice Now.” The issues of race and class came up in many speeches.

“If he had a different complexion and a different connection, we wouldn’t be here,” Sharpton said.

Wilson, now 21, is serving a 10-year mandatory sentence for aggravated child molestation stemming from a 2003 New Year’s Eve Party where he was captured on videotape receiving oral sex from a 15-year-old girl. The law has since been changed by Georgia lawmakers, but the state’s top court said the new law could not be applied retroactively.

Wilson was also charged in 2003 with raping a 17-year-old girl at the party, but a jury acquitted him of the charges.

JENA, Louisiana: A white teenager allegedly beaten by black schoolmates during a time of racial tension at their Louisiana school told a jury Wednesday that he was hit from behind, knocked unconscious and never saw who attacked him.

Justin Barker, 17, testified that he had just come out of his high school gym with his girlfriend walking ahead of him on Dec. 4 when they turned to avoid a group of black students.

“I turned my back and somebody hit me, that’s all I remember,” Barker said.

Barker testified before an all-white jury in the trial of Mychal Bell, also 17, the first of six black teenagers arrested in the alleged beating. The case drew widespread attention when five of those arrested were charged with attempted murder and conspiracy counts carrying decades of prison time. Charges against Bell, however, were reduced the day before the trial.

Jurors are expected to get the case Thursday. The prosecution rested after calling 17 witnesses who provided sometimes conflicting testimony about Bell’s alleged involvement in the fight. The defense then rested without presenting any witnesses.

The racial tensions leading to the fight began in August in Jena — a town of 2,900 with about 350 black residents — after a black student at Jena High School sat under a tree traditionally used as a gathering spot by white students. Later, three nooses — symbolizing lynching — were hanging in the tree when students arrived on campus.

The short, troubled life of a drug-dealing Harlem midget came to a violent end yesterday when he was gunned down while guzzling beer and shooting dice outside a housing project.Cops found a huge .380-caliber pistol in the waistband of little person Joshua Agard, 18, along with 15 vials of crack that he was peddling while hanging out in a courtyard with pal Manuel Zabater, who was also killed in the attack.

“how much could he get into?” said distraught neighbor Debra Daniels, 61. “He was a good person. I loved him.”

Though Agard was just 3 feet tall, he had a police record a mile long. So far this year, he had been busted twice, once on assault charges for throwing a bottle at a man’s head and once for trespassing when he was caught inside 425 E. 105th St. He also had two other arrests, cops said.

The final, fatal trouble for Agard came at about 4:30 a.m. yesterday while he and Zabater, beers in hand, were in the courtyard of the East River Houses project on East 105th Street.

According to cops, three or four black males approached and, without saying a word, blasted Agard several times.

Witnesses told The Post that the project grounds were clear of the usual cast of thugs at the time of the shooting, indicating that many knew the hit would be going down.

As rounds tore through the tiny target’s head and torso, Zabater committed an act of bravery when he rushed to his friend’s side and tried to pull him to cover, witnesses said. That’s when Zabater - who was on parole for drugs - was hit twice in the torso.
